The Delta Integrale, made its debut in the 1987 World Rally Championship and quickly established itself as a dominant force in the competition, winning the championship six times in a row between 1987 and 1992. A record that still stands. The same period also saw the World Drivers’ Championship title won four times. In 1993 Lancia still released the Evo 2, but it was no longer a homologation model, as the factory no longer made a rally car of it.

The Delta Integrale was powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and had all-wheel drive, which gave it exceptional grip and handling. Evolution models rolled out of the factory starting in late 1991. To improve handling, the Evolution I had more track width which produced the distinctive thick wheel arches. Other features include air intakes for additional cooling and an adjustable spoiler for increased downforce. All-wheel drive was divided into 47% to the front wheels and 53% to the rear wheels. The 16V engine was a further development of the earlier models and produced 205 horsepower.

The Lancia Delta Integrale EVO 1 was a true rally icon and its reputation as one of the greatest rally cars of all time is well deserved and is now highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts.

Meet our beautiful Lancia Delta Integrale EVO 1, delivered to its first owner by Lancia Auto 3000 in Terni in December 1991. After 32 years, we bought this car in Terni from the first owner with only 6,527km on the odometer!

Not only the mileage is exceptional, but also the fact that the car is completely in its factory paint, at the bottom are still visible all the factory markings, in the interior are still present all the plastics that were applied at the factory on the floor as well as on the door screens. Furthermore, the car is still on its factory tires, which have no trace of wear.

Moreover, this already desirable Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione is equipped with an extremely rare water spray tank for the intercooler – a competition-derived feature found only on early production cars. Only the first 200 Evo 1s were homologation models for Group A and had this water spray tank. However, very few of these 200 had the full installation where this water bag was connected to the intercooler. This is one of these cars! The car is accompanied by owner’s manuals and factory documentation, two sets of keys and Automotoclub Storico Italiano (ASI) certification.

In short, this is a top collector!
