Ferrari 550

Highlights

  • Original belgian car
  • Full history available
  • Major maintenance incl timing belt before delivery

The Ferrari 550 Maranello belongs to that rare type of Ferrari that only commands more respect with age. A pure gran turismo from an era when Ferrari once again placed its V12 at the front of the nose – exactly as Enzo Ferrari once intended. Long hood, muscular rear end, manual transmission and an atmospheric twelve-cylinder that makes every drive special.

This Ferrari 550 was delivered new in Belgium by Garage Francorchamps on April 13, 2001 .

The finish is particularly stylish: Argento Nürburgring, an elegant silver shade that perfectly emphasizes the 550’s lines, combined with a black leather interior with Daytona seats. A classic Ferrari configuration that feels simultaneously sporty and timeless. The interior still exudes that typical Ferrari atmosphere of the early 2000s: pure, mechanical and completely focused on the driver.

What makes this car extra attractive to the enthusiast is the full documentation. The original board folder, all original booklets, the service booklet and the code cards are present. Details that complete the story of the car and are particularly important to collectors.

Technically, the car was also handled carefully. Since 2008, the Ferrari was not registered, so it was used only sporadically. Despite that limited use, the car did receive the maintenance a Ferrari deserves. A major maintenance was performed in both 2013 and 2021 during which the timing belt was replaced.

Moreover, during the 2021 maintenance, the famous Ferrari “sticky buttons” were professionally addressed, restoring the interior to perfect condition.

In addition, there are no red flags in the official Ferrari system, giving additional peace of mind.

Before delivery, this Ferrari 550 Maranello will undergo another major maintenance including new timing belt, so the next owner can immediately enjoy one of the most beloved V12 Ferraris of modern classics carefree.

Today, the 550 Maranello may be the last Ferrari to perfectly balance classic and modern: analog driving, a manual transmission, and the majestic soundtrack of an atmospheric V12 up front.

A Ferrari for connoisseurs.
A Ferrari to drive.
A Ferrari as Ferrari intended them to be.
