996 GT3 RS

Highlights

  • One of only 682 cars built!
  • First Paint
  • Service history

The Type 996 GT3 was developed by Porsche in 1999 to homologate the 911 for the FIA GT3 category. In competition form, the GT3 enjoyed success with class wins at Le Mans, Sebring, and Daytona. For 2003, an even more track-focused RS variant was introduced. While using the same 380 hp flat-six as the standard GT3, the RS was made more agile via weight-saving measures including a polycarbonate rear window and a carbon fiber hood and rear wing, while ceramic composite brakes were made available.

This 2004 Porsche 996 GT3 RS is one of 682 examples built. This car was delivered new in The Netherlands by Porsche Centre Eindhoven, accruing 28.000km’s. Finished in Grand Prix White with red graphics and wheels, this RS is equipped with the Clubsport package, which is composed of a full-roll-cage, six-point harnesses for the fixed-back Recaro seats, a fire extinguisher, and a single-mass flywheel that enabled the engine to spin to redline more freely.

Maintained in extremely original / “as new” condition, 100% first paint and accompanied by books, tools and service history.

A GT3 RS with this quality is seldom offered for sale, and many believe it produces a more raw and connected driving experience than later models. This example provides the rare chance to purchase one of the most visceral Porsches ever produced.

Don’t miss this great investment opportunity.
