Toyota GR Yaris - HIGH PERFORMANCE

New car introductions these days are like celebrating your birthday after your twentieth birthday. It’s not all that exciting anymore, you know exactly what you’re getting and secretly you start longing for the past.

However, this does not apply to the Toyota GR Yaris! This actually only shares the bottom plate and the lighting with the regular Yaris. In the front is the most powerful three-cylinder at the moment!

Why do I hear you ask. On the one hand, the Toyota GR Yaris arose from the wish of big boss Toyoda (not a spelling mistake, nor a character from Star Wars) to build a sports car that was developed purely by Toyota.

On the other hand, the brand really wants to win in the WRC. To participate in that championship you must use a road car, which you can rebuild to rally specifications. Toyota turned it around: they built a rally car and then turned it into a street car to still comply with the rules.

Meanwhile, the Toyota GR Yaris is no longer available and it is already a legend…

This Black metallic GR Yaris was delivered to its first owner on May 29, 2021. Since then, the car has covered just over 9,000 km, but is still in mint condition (and of course 100% accident free).

Importantly, the car is equipped with the Performance pack and therefore has a track chassis, two Torsen differentials and 18-inch lightweight BBS forged wheels with Michelin tires and red brake calipers. Furthermore, the car has the extended warranty of 5 years (so until 29/5/2026) and it comes with all its original booklets.
